From the cover of this book I thought that I would really enjoy it. Once I stated reading it I found it a little boring. The plot flowed well and made sense, but I felt like it drug on. The pictures were also boring. On the majority of the pages there was a single picture with a lot oh white space in the background. The books is supposed to represent diversity by having a variety of animals in the story. I do not think a variety of animals shows diversity very well. It was hard for me to pick up on the aspects of diversity through the animals, so I can't imagine that children will catch on to that aspect either. I did not enjoy this book very much and I would not choose to read it again.
